A new Jeep® ad went viral, but you won’t see it during any sporting event or between sitcoms. The digital-only ad, dubbed “More Than Just Words,” puts freedom in the spotlight. With music by OneRepublic, it’s no wonder the new Jeep® ad dominated the internet.
The long-form advertisement runs just under two minutes long. In it, Jeep® explores the world we live in, from the friendships, to the history, to honoring those have put their lives on the line. The video demonstrates what mere words cannot. By illustrating the lyrics to “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Jeep® effectively demonstrates what its vehicles bring to the road: freedom, adventure, and passion beyond measure.
“The band’s soaring musical arrangement and Ryan Tedder’s vocals complementing the visual images behind the song’s lyrics makes the video come to life in a way we only dreamed possible,” said Olivier Francois, CMO, FCA.
This isn’t the first Jeep® ad to go viral though. Prior to the release of “More Than Just Words,” the automaker unveiled its new truck in “Crusher.” In this ad, the Jeep® Gladiator pickup carries a look of pure adventure and strength.
The all-new 2020 Jeep® Gladiator presents a true off-road challenge to trucks that have gotten a little too comfortable. With the brand’s reputation for strength, and an ad that reiterates the message that the Jeep® Gladiator is ready to take the roads by storm.
