While we’ve known about the all-new 2020 Jeep® Gladiator for some time now, it’s official unveiling at the recent LA Auto Show gives us a thorough look into one of the most innovative new vehicles from any automaker in recent years. A unique pickup styled after the iconic Jeep® Wrangler, the 2020 Jeep® Gladiator confirms what we’ve long suspected — both Jeep® and pickup enthusiasts have a lot to get excited about.
While the 2020 Gladiator resembles a Wrangler with a pickup truck bed, the 2020 Gladiator features a brand new frame that is a massive 31 inches longer than that of the Wrangler and a wheelbase that is 19.4-inches longer than the Wrangler’s. This means the 2020 Gladiator isn’t simply a Wrangler with a bit more space out back. Rather, the 2020 Gladiator is an exceptionally versatile pickup that promises to be the perfect companion to adventurers everywhere.
The 2020 Gladiator will come standard with a potent 3.6-liter gasoline engine capable of 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Available in 2020 will be a redesigned 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine that will generate an impressive 442 lb-ft of torque for enhanced capability.
Finally, the 2020 Gladiator will feature some exciting new tech, including an available wireless Bluetooth® speaker, standard 5-inch touchscreen and available 7.4- and 8-inch touchscreens with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® integration.
